About the award
The Pierre and Alexandra Boulat Award is designed to encourage the work of photojournalists who are confronted with the economic difficulties of their profession. The Pierre et Alexandra Boulat association awards a prize of €8,000 donated by LaScam.
This prize is awarded, upon submission of a dossier, to a working photojournalist, regardless of age, gender, or nationality, who wishes to produce personal work of a social, economic, political, or cultural nature, in a journalistic style, but who has not been able to obtain a commission from the press.
