Propose an exhibition or screening


Are you a professional photographer and would like to present a reportage for an exhibition or screening event for the next edition of Visa pour l’Image? Here is the procedure for submitting a project.

Full list of items that must be included in your file 

– 1 portrait (minimum 1600 pixels high and 150 dpi).
– 1 presentation text (in French or English) of your report with your full contact details.
– 1 edit of 50 to 150 photographs from your photo report with all IPTC fields filled in: copyright, caption, date, location, etc.

Any subject not accompanied by a text will not be considered. Applications that do not comply with the list of items to be provided and the criteria below will not be considered.

Visa pour l’Image is an International Photojournalism Festival. We are solely interested in current events and in no way in artistic photography or portrait series.

You can submit several subjects, but each subject must include a minimum of 50 photos.

To submit your application, please complete the form below. We do not accept submissions via Wetransfer. We do not accept videotapes or DVDs. Please NEVER send slideshows (.pps, .ppt, .mov, .mpg) or .pdf files.

We only accept photographs in JPG format. If in doubt, we reserve the right to ask you for your raw files.

Slideshow formats (.pps, .ppt, .mov, .mpg) and PDFs are not accepted.

No video cassettes or DVDs.

Visa pour l'Image: Current events around the world

Since 1989, the Visa pour l'Image International Photojournalism Festival has offered an annual window on the world in Perpignan. It is a unique opportunity to look back on the events of the past year, covering a range of topics and perspectives related to social issues, conflicts, and observations on the state of the world.

The program includes: exhibitions, evening screenings, workshops, portfolio reviews, education, and awards and grants.
